Relight a product into a lifestyle scene with Flux Kontext

A pasted product looks pasted because the light disagrees: the scene is lit from the left, the product from the front, and nothing casts a shadow. Relighting fixes that by re-rendering the light on the product to match the scene you describe, while keeping the product's shape and label locked.
Name one light source and its direction. 'Soft morning window light from the left, warm 4000K' works; 'beautiful lighting' does not. Name the surface the product sits on, because that is where the contact shadow and reflection land.
You'll need
- A clean cutout of the product (see the white background tutorial)
- One scene idea you can name in a sentence: surface, light source, time of day
- Product relighting tool (Flux Kontext edit)
Start from a cutout
A clean cutout gives Kontext a precise subject. Busy backgrounds leak colour into the result.
Write the scene in one line
Surface + light source + direction + colour temperature. Example: white marble counter, window light from the left, 4000K.
Lock the product
Add: keep the product shape, colour, logo and text unchanged.
Check shadows
The shadow should fall away from the light. If it does not, repeat the direction once more in the instruction.
Make two variants
Change only one variable (surface or time of day) between runs so you can A/B test on the listing.
Paste this instruction
Place this product on a white marble kitchen counter. Soft morning window light from the left, warm 4000K, gentle shadow falling to the right. Blurred kitchen background, shallow depth of field. Keep the product shape, colour, logo and label text exactly the same. 4:5 vertical.
Don't stack
Do not describe two light sources fighting each other. Do not let the scene crowd the product — the item should still be the sharpest, brightest thing in the frame.

Pure white background cutout with a natural contact shadow
Turn a phone photo into a marketplace-ready main image: clean cutout, RGB 255 white, a soft contact shadow, product filling ~85% of the fram
