Pricing
The Cheapest Way to Edit Product Photos with AI (Pay Per Image, No Subscription)
Most AI product-photo apps sell a monthly seat — often around $29 a month — with a quota of credits. For a seller editing a few dozen images a month, that is a high price per image; for a seller with seasonal spikes, the quota runs out exactly when it is needed. Paying per image is cheaper for most catalogues. Here is how to work out your real cost.

Subscription vs pay-per-image
A $29 monthly seat used for 100 images works out at $0.29 an image. Compare that with the Qwen Image Edit Plus list price of $0.032 per image: a complete eight-image listing set costs about $0.25. The subscription only wins if you reliably use most of a large quota every month.
Where the savings leak
- Retries. The cheapest model is the one that is right first time. A cheap model needing four attempts costs more than a dearer one needing one.
- Wrong model for the job. Using a scene model for a text fix, or a text model for a relight, multiplies retries. See Flux vs Qwen.
- Skipping the cutout. Edits on uncut photos fail more often.
- Upscaling early. Upscale once, at the end.
A cheap, reliable default stack
- Background removal — $0.13.
- Inpaint on Qwen Image Edit Plus — $0.032.
- Product relighting on Flux Kontext dev — $0.038.
- Upscale — $0.036.
